Apple recommends iStudiez Pro for students!

Another great news to share is that iStudiez Pro now being officially recommended by Apple on the Apps For iPhone page. Just choose Apps For Students section and you’ll see iStudiez Pro description with the Make your grade slogan.

Must say, we are really pleased with being recommended by Apple, especially with the nice description that they’ve posted below the screenshot:
“The award-winning iStudiez Pro lets you manage every type of school schedule, keep track of all your assignments, and stay on course for the next big exam. And you’ll always make it to class on time with multiple alarms and push notifications that display on your iPhone no matter what app you’re using.”

That what makes you feel there’s always space to do more…
“Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them” – remember? ;)

I think that all three are true for you, and your app. I saw that line performed by Derek Jacobi…

love istudiez, congratulations for that amazing review. Now you have more reasons for making a great desktop app. Any news about that? a little clue maybe…i can’t wait any longer, jaja. Your app is perfect, but the iphone is small;)

only 3 days left… what are the problems with the last versinon? won´t it open under 4.0, or are there other issues…
should we wait with the update until there is a new istudiez version?

Give em time mates. iOS4 Gold Candidate just went to developers last week! They’ll get to our other comments in time and new features and whatnot. I’m excited to see a desktop client but I’d love for it to work on iOS4 first :)

  15. Thanks Zidane :)

Any plans to release a version for apple desktops and laptops? It would be considerably easier to enter and organize data, such as assignments, on a computer and have the information sync’d to the app on my iphone. Just thought it might be something worth thinking about. Love the product you’ve created, thank you so much.

I would second a desktop app- or at least a sync program so that I could link stuff in Circus Ponies Notebook

I just updated to OS 4.0 and I am not seeing any problems with it. I love this app! The new grades feature is awesome!!! I would love to be able to have a desktop version to sync with my PC. It would also be nice if there was an added to do list for non school items as well. It would be even worth paying a little extra for.
I do love the app and use it everyday.

Just noticed this from the previous post… “P.S. Now working like mad on desktop and sync…” Thank you for preemptively answering my question. I would say your ability to anticipate what users want has contributed a great deal to your success. Thanks again.

It could actually post a threat to iCal and be a decent desktop app for PCs if you ask me. Obviously it’s meant for classes but it’s a college student’s dream app!

Best app I have hands down. :)

i’m actually mad about the new local push notifications, but i don’t want you guys to colapse, if you’re working on the desktop app as you said i think you’ll first finish this, and then the improvements for iOS 4, am i right? I know that this would be more work for you, but something like this status page would be amazing http://culturedcode.com/status

  22. Hi David, really nice news :) But we are still updating the interface and polishing some functionality…

hi iStudiez congratulations! there’s just this one thing that i’m really confused. My friend has an iphone 3gs and is running on ios4 and iStudiez pro worked for her, as for me i’m on 2nd gen ipod touch running ios4 as well but istudiez pro won’t work. Hope my problem could be resolved. Thanks!

iStudiez Pro is one of my top five favorite apps! It has literally replaced the $30 planner I use to buy every year. The one thing that would make it even better would be if the calendar in the app could sync to my iPhone calendar. This way, my work schedule would show up alongside my school schedule and I could look at just one calendar instead of two. Is this a feature that could be added in the near future?

  25. Andrea said

iStudiez Pro is definitely one of the best apps out there -most esp. for college students of course. I can’t wait for the desktop version! It’ll make everything so much better… It would also be nice to be able to set up an alarm for classes so we wouldn’t have to look at our watches every 15min. I manually set up alarms 15 minutes before each of my classes, and although it’s tedious, it saves a lot of worrying!

Is iOS4 offline notifications coming in an update? (i.e. for class reminders without needing network or push)

I love the app btw; only recently realised that u had to enable grades in settings…

  27. Connor said

How long till the desktop? (Sorri if pushy)
If you like i would love to help beta test it!

  28. Connor said

Oh and will it be for PC or mac. (I geuss mac) :)

  29. Thefireman said

“at this moment of the match” i would like to be a beta tester too, i want so bad the mac desktop app, and of course the new push system, thanks to the new iOS apis you guys have the possibility of doing an amazing work (once again, as you’ve been doing it so far)

Keep up the good job, you have the best education app out there!
