To cut it short, we made iStudiez Pro compatible with iOS4. Which does not mean that if you are not updated to iOS 4 the app will not work on your device. Of course, it will. So just a few words about the details.
iOS 4 compatibility:
- Retina display. This was quite an effort, we should say, especially taking into account that Michael had to re-draw ALL of the art of the app in order to make it look sexy with Retina display. So basically all icons, buttons, textures, everything you see was resized (we wonder whether we’ll survive when Retina display comes to iPad, but that’s another story…)
- Multitasking support comes with something that many of you asked for a long time, iStudiez Pro now opens where you left it, on the last viewed screen. Wasn’t that hard, really…
- Integration with Calendar app on iPhone (turned on by default, but can be turned off via internal settings in the app). From now on you will be able to manage (add, edit, delete etc) in iStudiez Pro all events that are entered in the Calendar app. As soon as Apple allows it now, we are happy to present this option to you in this update.
- And you no longer need to always stay connected to the Internet to be notified of your upcoming classes and pending assignments. Local push notifications are available in iStudiez Pro for those who use iOS 4.
We’ve also made some improvements which are universal for iPhone/iPod and iPad versions of the app. When you’ll be making a backup of your data, all the cancelled classes and notes will be saved, no more lost. ..oh yes, and exams will now show up during your holidays period 
We also fixed grades calculation, updated some localizations (Dutch, Italian and Russian) and improved general stability and performance of iStudiez Pro.
P.S. To answer before you ask: yes, we are still working on desktop version

Does integration with Calendar app also mean, that I can “export” my classes into the Calendar app (and if the calendar is a Google Calendar for example will be synced to the server)?

How does the calendar integration work? Am I going to see every event from my calendar displayed within istudiez or will there be specific category inclusion, etc. Also, does it work the other way (iStudiez events displayed in calendar)?

your app guys is the best thing that ever happened to a student, i’m really grateful for this update, it sounds amazing, with all those cool features, i just hope it works fine. Also thank you for the P.S, are good news. Thanks a lot again, and hope Apple approves quickly this update.

Hi! I really love this app and use it a lot! I´d like to know if we can sync data between iphone and ipad, that would be a great feature, I´m buying an Ipad and would love to use it with my iphone.

I know the desktop version will sync to iCal l but will the iCal sync to the Desktop version?
Can’t say anything about the update, because since the update the app crashes each time I try to start it! (3G, IOS4).

but at the moment i am experiencing a bug with the time wheel.
in the class/exam/assignment window if you set the time there is a weird difference, precisely a 1hour difference.
hopefully i am not the only one having this problem…

Is there 2-way calendar sync? I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get classes in iStudiez Pro to show up in Calendar, only the other way around. How do I do this?
(I want to do this because I use Google Sync to keep my Calendar synced to Google Calendar and would like my classes in there.)
Hi Kerrick, not right now. You can only view Calendar events in iStudiez Pro.
Great program and I love it. However…it is crashing now?!? Everytime I try to add an assignement it just kicks me off. Please fix and email me back. Thanks, JB
i got problem with istudiez pro….when i used it for the first, i chose to use the sample to have some experience about this application…after that i deleted all the courses even reinstall the application, it keeps noticing me the classes in the sample…i dont know why….what should i do???
Please, this is a great APP, but I’m using exchange, I need the calendar on my outlook… so please sync the calendar with iphone main calendar…………………….
Looks like a great App. The only thing stopping me from downloading is that there is no desktop version
(yet). Hope the desktop version contains syncing possibilities with ipad and iphone
