This is a minor update that only includes fixes of most annoying bugs that you complained about. So we fixed:
- Ghost notifications
- Crash while importing instructors from Contacts
- Crash while viewing/tapping holidays in Calendar
- Bug with delayed refresh of App Icon Badge
We’ll of course include some interesting new options in our next updates, we listed all the requests that you have sent to us so far in the order of preference and will do our best to introduce the most crucial and attractive first.

what about the bug when you add a semester, and try to edit a name it crashes (everytime). Everything else awesome but adding semesters is kids crusial and I can’t get it to work.
When will this be fixed?
Juan, please send crash logs to our support mail. Thanks!
Hi.
I have iStudiez Pro on my iPhone, an its one of most used app on my phone, i realy love the way you guys did.
Now, my girlfriend is gealous about this app (since she is also in university), and she wants this app, but… she doent have an iPhone, actualy she won a Samsung Galaxy S (a week ago), so Android SO.
My question is: Do you guys plan to make a version for the Android (like many are doing)?
can we get a mac app to sync with iStudent Pro i’d love that and have that sync with ical or summating that can make grade 11 & 12 more organised
This is awesome. I cant wait for the new features to come out. Plus my requet for the Ghost Notifications from the Sample Data has been fixed which is great!
Feature Request:
Classes can be synced with Google Calender
– Same Colour
– If Exchange Account is active with Google Calender + iCal on iPhone, there will be no overlaps or repeats
– Holidays intergration
Assignments can be synced with Google Tasks
– Tasks under the class(categories in GTasks)
Instructiors can be synced with Google Contacts and Contacts on iPhone
– Easily import, export or sync instructors with Google Contacts
Thank You,
Sunite
ps. intergration of Google Calender/Tasks/Contacts will be a massive boost for iStudiez Pro as it can be a way of backing up Classes + Assingments + Instructors
I’ve sent an email to support but I am so incensed I just had to leave a public comment.
I paid $2.99 to download the app onto my iPod touch, only to discover that the app CRASHES ON LAUNCH. It’s completely useless.
I want my money back.
Oh, comments are moderated? Of course they would be.
Please fix the problem or offer refunds to those users who can’t even use the application.
We can’t jus literally blame iStudiez Pro for not working. Okay, some of us can…
Most people who download iStudiez Pro don’t really have a problem using it at the start. But some do like yourself, so I suggest sending a email to: support@istudiezpro.com and they will do their best to fix this!
I myself have also came across some problems like ghost notifications from the Sample Data but since the update jus came, it’s been fixed. So I suggest not complaining but actually reporting it for it to be fixed and making iStudiez Pro stable once and for all!
Thanks,
Sunite
Tiffany, please send us your crash logs.
Also, try the following:
1. Make a data backup if you can;
2. Remove the app from your device;
3. Reinstall the app;
4. load your data backup.
Let us know if that helps.
Ghost notifications still exist after this update. Even after I remove the app. If you can’t fix it, at least tell me how to completely remove it.
Great to see updates coming constantly.
Can’t understate how much I wish iOS 4.0 was here for the iPad, as the iPhone version of iStudiez Pro is ridiculously useful with the 4.0-only features.
Keep up the great work, and looking forward to hearing about a possible desktop app and sync capabilities for keeping all three (iPhone/iPad/Mac) in sync.
3 days till school
Desktop app… 2 days till school.
Connor, instead of counting down the days till the desktop software comes out, I suggest you prepare for your school! I’m sure that the desktop app is right around the corner. So just keep an eye on this blog.
Can I ask if the desktop will be on both Windows & Mac, and which one is currently under construction?
Thanks,
Sunite
Same with Robbot,
There are still ghost notifications.
I just bought the iStudiez app one week ago and already I love it! Finally something that will keep me on track with my studies. One complaint tho….even with the 1.4.2 version I still recieve ghost notifications. Other than that this app is almost perfect! (a desktop windows app would be appreciated too)
I still have Ghost Notifications after the update, so I removed the app. I still get them!
Would be a great app but this is a big problem.
I trying out iStudiez Lite. Program does not accept class times. Random times appear in the Start End boxes when I try to dial in a lecture time (i.e. 1:00 pm start and 4:30 pm end). The program looks brilliant but if it’s buggy and unreliable, that’s a serious problem.
pleaseee add a software for computer as well. it saves so much time, as many of my syllabi are posted electronically
I think your app is excellent but I have a two week timetable and because the holidays feature doesn’t shift my timetable I have to enter all of my classes 6 times (once for each half term!!!) or the weeks are out of sync.
Please please add this feature as soon as possible.
Hi Andrew, yes, we’ll definitely work on it.
I am loving this App (paid app) so much guys! The only thing I ask is that in the next update you make it so adding stuff to the iStudiez Pro Calendar also automatticaly adds it to the regular Calendar App (not just vice versa) so you can Sync it all with your computer! If you get that done, myself and many others would be super happy!
Thanks!
