How about we work together?

As the iOS 11 Public Beta is out to taste, most of you might have already installed it.
If that’s so, the better as we have some developments going on regarding iPad version of iStudiez Pro, and we’ve got something to ask of you.

Remember we implemented Split Screen on iPad a while ago? We thought you might also like Drag & Drop, but we need your opinions to understand how exactly you would use it WITHIN iStudiez Pro.
Who would know better than you, in the end?

You are welcome to send us your suggestions as comments to this post or to our support email.
Ideally we wish to be ready with the new features for the back-to-school time.

Thanks a lot!

Vacations soon?! Not for iStudiez Team ;)

Instead, we feed on your feedback as our inspiration and make the app better with each update.
And here we go, it’s all about iStudiez Pro for Watch this time.

We saw for some of you Free Time slots in complication are rather unbearable (students study like crazy these days!), so now you can turn this off.
On the other hand, it was obvious you wanted assignments and exams to show up in Overview, so we added that. That is why we use Watch, right? Whole picture at just one short glance!
Love it!

And, feel free to choose grid or list view, based on your mood today.
Gosh, spread the word guys, the app is a gem! 😉

Fresh and Flashy – New iStudiez Pro on its Way

Instinct. Idea. Innovation…
This is how we started to think of bringing to life new image of iStudiez Pro. And then we learned that iOS 7 is coming. It totally corresponds to our new vision of the app and our excitement has helped us work overnights during these last few months.

We are restraining ourselves from revealing everything to you so far, but at least we can share some main points.

iStudiez Pro is getting more elegant look for the upcoming iOS 7. Calendar in iPhone version is being tuned and polished, and totally redesigned Planner on iPad will be a nice addition to the update.

Thinking of all our users, we decided that iOS upcoming version will support BOTH iOS 7 and iOS 6, so no worries about that.

And, Mac version of iStudiez Pro is being tested for OS X 10.9 Mavericks BETA. To predict your questions: you will still have to wait for new look and new features of the app on your Mac. We will further update you on this.

This is all we can spill right now, guys. The update is on its way and we are excited about it.
Hope you’ll be too!

Update in the pipeline

We know it’s taking us a while to release the long-waited-for update with iPhone 5 compatibility, but we have some good reasons to delay the release, one of them being the need to fix several major bugs and also implement some new useful features.

So please give us some more time. Meanwhile, just to calm most curious of you, here is one of the features that we already added and that will be available in the update: pinch zoom in week view (for iPad version only). Also in all versions of the app it will be possible to see past events in Today view.

Thanks for your patience, we’ll keep you posted.

Announcing terrific tool for teachers: iTeacherBook

We have just submitted the new app, this time exclusively for teachers, professors, coaches and all of faculty members in general.

iTeacherBook is a sister app for iStudiez Pro and was developed for iPhone/iPod Touch as a response for multiple requests from teachers who already tried and enjoyed iStudiez Pro.

iTeacherBook not only allows planning a teacher’s schedule and tasks, but also gives an option of tracking attendance of all students, send assignments by email right from the app as well as mark and observe the progress of students for every course and class they attend (grades option).

The app makes it possible to track schedule and progress of students both in real-time mode and post factum in the form of reports in .csv format.

We are proud to announce it here for the first time and hope you guys will help us spread the news among your teachers 😉

You are more than welcome to learn more details here: iteacherbook.com

P.S. The app is now in review and will be available in the App Store as soon as it is approved by Apple.

iStudiez Pro for Mac submitted for approval

First of all we apologize for the delay in submit date, we know you’ve long been waiting for it. Now hopefully it will not take that long for Apple to approve 🙂

iStudiez Pro for Mac syncs with iStudiez Pro on iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad via the Cloud Sync server. All users of iStudiez Pro version 1.5 will be able to enjoy this feature.

Version for Mac 1.0 is not yet fully localized into all the languages that iOS version of the app supports, but our volunteer translators are now helping us to improve that. Thank you all guys for being with us!

We also want to say thank all of you who sent their ideas and suggestions, our beta-testers for their valuable comments and timely feedback and everyone else who was patiently waiting and supporting us on their blogs, forums, tweets and Facebook posts.
