We continue working to implement your requests. Some of them are rather complicated and it takes time, but we are on our way to deliver more good and useful features to you.

Version 1.4.4 is mostly about iPad version. iOS update from Apple is coming in November and we will be prepared with general iOS 4.2 compatibility, including support of multitasking and possibility to view Calendar events in iStudiez Pro.

We also missed Week View for iPad version of the app, so we developed it for this update as well, hope you’ll enjoy

And, something that we should have done long ago – iStudiez Pro will now support shift of schedule after holidays (for A&B weeks and rotating schedules) for iPhone/iPod/iPad.

A few words of general betterments:

• Stability improved
• Minor bugs fixed
• Localizations fixed: Spanish, Italian, German and Chinese Traditional
• Localizations added: British, Catalan (total number of localizations of the app being 29 now! Thanks to all of you who are helping so much with translation and corrections!)
• Fixed occasional bug with dates in October

In 1.1.3 we’ve improved Calendar stability, rearranged settings and made some corrections to the Chinese Simplified, Dutch and French localizations.

Following your requests we implemented names for the exams option and added more sounds to choose from when setting up push notifications. Enjoy!

And, we’ve finally translated the app into the Japanese language adding up the localizations of iStudiez Pro to the jubilee number of 25!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you!

We are almost ready with it, but we want to double check everything, so we hope to submit it to Apple’s review in September. It is lots of work, so thanks for your understanding and patience.

So what’s new?

• First of all, iStudiez Pro will only be compatible with iPhone/iPod Touch OS 3.0 or higher (if you have not yet updated your OS, it is right the time to do it, the new OS has lots of new and amazing functions to enjoy).
• Most craved for feature – Push Notifications.
• Holidays. Yep, now when you don’t have classes on some particular day, you’ll be able to mark it so that it shows you there is a holiday or day off with no classes.
• Block schedule option (A & B weeks, 6-days schedule, every other day repetition etc).
• Going beyond mere planning we have decided to add special area dedicated to Teachers hosting all your information about your instructors (e-mail, phone numbers, address, office hours etc).
• When you input Custom class type, it will further be saved and available from the class types picker.
• Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, (hey there Scandinavia!), Hebrew and Polish localizations.
• Operation speed improved, assignments planning improved, some other things added (let us be mysterious at least in something, hah?!)
• Minor bugs fixed (that’s standard, we just had to write that down )

Guys, we are also thinking to add GPA calculator, weighted assignments, etc but this will come a little bit later, just be patient, OK? We will continue ameliorating iStudiez Pro, so feel certain about that.

Of course we will not be able to include ALL your ideas into this one update, but please know that we will definitely consider them for the future.

All new features are implemented according to requests and advice of iStudent Pro users. Great that you guys are enthusiastic to help us improve the app as much as possible. And, we again thank to all our volunteer translators who did amazing job and made iStudent Pro speak more languages.

We have finally submitted 1.0.2 update and it is expected to be reviewed and approved by Apple within one week.

By the way, we were fortunate to add Chinese localization at the very last moment, with thanks to Stasean Keakvol.

You guys were amazing, your advice and recommendations were really significant!

We have just started working on the next update of iStudent Pro and among new things and features that we plan to include in the app, we are thinking to add more languages for your convenience.

As you know, right now the app hosts English, French, Spanish, Russian and Ukrainian localizations. We’ve also received some generous offers from volunteers who will kindly help us with Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Hungarian, Dutch and German localizations.

So now we are calling you fans of iStudent Pro to contribute to the development of the application and help us with the localization into the language of your country.

Your help will be much appreciated and your name will appear on the Info page in the localization made by you.
