iStudiez Pro for Mac version 1.0.5 available in the Mac App Store

First we would like to apologize before those of you who experienced problems with sync in previous version of the app. Here is what we’ve done to address existing issues:

  • Fixed “Sync from Mac” behavior
  • Added Sync to Server command allowing to force sync to the server all the data available in iStudiez Pro for Mac
  • Fixed problem when the app loses data after quitting
  • Fixed GPA calculation based on Percent Grading Scale

IMPORTANT: those users who lost the app data on their iOS devices after updating to version 1.0.4, but still have the data on their Macs will need to use new command Sync to Server. Here is what you need to do:

  1. From the iStudiez Pro menu bar, choose Data
  2. While in Data menu, press and hold Option button on your keyboard
  3. You will see the command Sync To Server appearing in Data menu, click it

This will force sync all the data currently existing on your Mac to the server. After you sync on your iOS devices, you will be able to see all data back there.
ALSO NOTE: this solution will only help those who did not create any new Cloud Sync accounts in iStudiez Pro and who are currently using iStudiez Pro for Mac where all the data is present.

    Did not work with german localizations. Simply changed language to English in systempreferences, restarted iStudiez and it worked. 😉

    Thank you so much for the update! The weeks without the working app on my iPhone were such a mess!

    PS. for me it has worked only after the second try: I’ve had to “sync to server” twice before my iPhone synced right. But now it works 😀

    Problem ! App crashes on startup since on my Lion 10.7.2 :

    Application Specific Information:
    dyld: launch, running initializers
    /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib
    xpchelper reply message validation: sandbox creation failed: 1002
    Container object initialization failed: The file couldn’t be opened.

    Application Specific Signatures:
    sandbox creation failed: 1002

    Any help ?

    Installed istudiez pro on my imac with mac os 10.6.8 everything is fine. could load a data backup via mail. but on my macbook pro 10.7.2 it crashes when i want to restore the data via mail. i cannot use icloud cause my ipod touch has no ios 5 yet.

      Bob, Cloud Sync option works both on iOS 4 and iOS 5. Please send to our support mail the data backup that you can’t load.

    Hi, please I need some help, I bought Istudiez Pro almost a year ago, I bought it for my ipad and iPhone, the only problem is that I don’t know how to download the app on my mac (I checked on the app store and it is not registered as bought). so far, this is the best app in the world, it has been a very useful tool for me.

      Yes, to sync your iPad with MacBook Pro you should have iStudiez Pro installed on both devices.
