iStudiez Pro Cloud Sync Server And iCloud

Some days ago iStudiez Pro Cloud Sync server was down and our users сouldn’t sync the app data. Currently everything is up and back to normal operation so you may use Cloud Sync service again.

However, we feel that we need to speak more about sync due to questions that we received from you guys over these several days. Option to sync and save your data is a vital part of a student’s life. And it’s obvious that a safe syncing is a guarantee of being organized and prepared in our case. iCloud sync service is smart, simple and easy to use. Thus it is logical if you ask why we use our own Cloud Sync service instead of iCloud?

We’ve already written about it long ago, so we’ll make it short. Due to a number of limitations we wouldn’t be able to implement many new and interesting features in iStudiez Pro if we used iCloud sync.

Another big concern of ours is that with our own Cloud Sync we are able to recover your data if something really really goes wrong. And we wouldn’t have such option if we used iCloud sync.

P.S. Just to add some sweets: we’ve already implemented some nice new things in the app and we are eager to show you as soon as we can 😉

    Is the ability to sync class schedules to my ical in the near future? Doing so would allow my family and such (that are subscribed to my ical) to see them as well.

    Is there still some problems with your Sync Server? As I’m an Australian student, and I find I can’t register Sync Account today, no matter how many times I tried > <. Would you please check it and reply me soon? Thank you.

    I am still unable to sync my schedules. I cannot even sign in to my iCloud istudiez account. I am sure I am typing in the correct password, but to be sure I attempted to request a password reminder via the “Forgot Password” link and upon entering my email address an error message appears, which reads: “Cannot Sync – Please try again in a few minutes.” What can be done to fix this problem?

    Please Give us the option to have it synced with Dropbox, adding an alternative to “Web View” For Windows Users.

    I just purchased the program and can’t create a sync account or sync anything. This is one of main reasons to purchase this app is the syncing between devices. This is going on too long for your customers. please fix!

    Just beginning this app, I was very excited to be able to sync, but I have no idea how to use the cloud sync instead of the iCloud. Please send specific directions.

    Sync is not working. Data I entered into my Iphone app is not getting to my Mac app. Totally useless unless this works. I am incredibly frustrated. Plus, my google calendar will sync with iOS, but because that doesn’t sync with Mac, my other events don’t show up. FIX PLEASE or give me my $$ back. Doesn’t work as advertised.

    I have followed all of the instructions to no avail. I first only used iStudiez Pro on my mac, now I have installed the application on my iPhone. I have successfully set up my Cloud Sync account and logged in on both devices simultaneously, but the data will not sync from my mac to my iPhone. If you have any means of customer support that would be great, if not, I feel like I purchased a misrepresentative service.

    I have same issue with KATE. When using iStudiez Pro on Mac, when click “Sync Now”, it always return error message:
    Sync error. Please try again in a few minutes.
    I tried many times and many days. Same error.
    Please let me know how to solve this? Thanks!

    IStudiez Pro on my iPad wont sync. It keeps telling me to check my Internet settings. Since im posting this using the same iPad, my Internet connection is just fine.

      There was an issue with the provider, where our Cloud Sync servers are stored. The service is already up and running.

      Our server is already up and running.
      Did you try to use another wi-fi or network connection? It may be a temporary issue of your ISP or firewall settings. Please check.

    Is there another issue with the cloud server? I am in the US but I cannot create a new cloud account. I have tried creating the cloud account using both my mac and iphone, and with multiple email addresses multiple times. However, I never receive the conformation email. I tried waiting, but it has been over a day.

    Just purchased iStudiez Pro for my daughter. When trying to sign into sync data between mac and iOS devices I’m being told “login in password is incorrect”. I have checked are rechecked the account and the login and password are correct. Any known issues? First day back to school is Wednesday (today is Monday) and it would be nice to have her organised.

    I have iStudiez Pro on one Mac and it is syncing fine. The second Mac — identical configuration, account, and password, is getting the dreaded ‘Cannot Connect to Server’ – check your internet settings and try again. Obviously this Mac can connect to the server as I am writing this message from this Mac.

    I am having the same issue as John! I’ve checked and rechecked to make sure the email and password are the same and even gave it some time to process my new account but I’m still getting “login in password is incorrect”. Please help!
    I also tried sending a data backup to my email from my iphone then opening it on my ipad but i’m hitting a road block there as well and cannot download the data.

    My password is not working on the OS X app. Im trying to use the “Forget password” feature but I don’t get any e-mail to reboot my password.

    Please, what should I do?

      Hi Luis!

      All password reset requests are processed in a queued manner.
      Once you send a request – the email gets into a queue and is going to be processed in a timely manner.
      Furthermore, sometimes emails from our server may get into SPAM folders. Please check.

    Hi! I’m almost certain both my password and email is correct, although when I try to sync it to my iPad it says it’s an incorrect password. Is there a fix for this?
    I have tried to create a new account using the same email to only say it’s currently in use. Is there a password reset?

      To change your iStudiez Pro Cloud Sync account password perform next:
      – on your iOS device:
      Go to iStudiez Pro Settings > Sync > tap “Sign In” button > tap ‘i’ button in a password field to reset the password

      – under OS X:
      Go to iStudiez Pro Preferences > Sync > turn the option off then turn it on > click “Sign In” button > click “Forgot Password?” button

    My ipad just wont sync anything to sever.
    I sent a back up to my email and i opened it on my phone but nothing was backed up.
    I cant seemed to sync at all. But i think it works on my phone just not on my ipad.
