Sync Server Temporarily Down – UPD: Up and Running!

Dear all! Unfortunately our Cloud Server provider is down at the moment, thus Sync may not be available temporarily. We have already contacted the provider, they are trying to solve the issue ASAP.

Once the server is up and running, we will let you know. Meanwhile, to be on the safe side, please make iStudiez Pro data backup.

UPDATE (Mar 6, 2013 1:30 am PST): We’ve managed to start the server, but Sync is not available yet, as we’re restoring your data. Everything is going to work really soon.

UPDATE 2 (Mar 7, 2013 11:00 am PST): Cloud Sync should be back to normal operation in 30 min. IMPORTANT: Prior to signing in please make iStudiez Pro data backup to avoid any possible issues!

    I bought this app yesterday for the sole purpose that i could use it on both my iphone and my mac. Really disappointed that I can’t sync. It keeps telling me to wait a few minutes and try again, but obviously it’s not working. Starting to get frustrated and my schedule isn’t getting any less busy.

    Is there any way to set-up “prep sessions” for upcoming exams/assignments as homework? (A sub-assignment?)

    (e.g. Scheduling 2 hours to study for a Statistics exam on each of the four days beforehand, or setting a due date for an essay’s outline a week before the essay’s own due date.)

    Really disappointing! They should stop the possibility to download the app or at least put a warning message :-/

    This is a temporary issue normally the cloud sync works flawlessly. I have used this app for months and have never had an issue. It is a very popular app, its a very difficult system to run. It should be back up very soon. My error says “istudiez pro is down for mantenance” so I was aware there was an issue. I expect the app to be back up by this evening back in perfect working order.

    New Feature:
    I think the app, especially the iPad version should allow us to create notes and documents, that way we could just do the work on the iPad and mark the assignment as done as soon as it is done by linking the work just done to the assignment.

    It isn’t unnatural for a feature to momentarily break within an application, so just give it time and stop being so impatient.

    It seems time to implement iCloud-based sync in iStudiez. Sync server down makes things pretty messy since most people start their semester in March.

    I have ALL my assessments on this n it wouldn’t work so I uninstalled and reinstalled again. Now all my timetable n assessments are gone. When I can actually sync again will I be able to get them back?

    I have been using this program on both my mac and my iphone now for over a year. This kind of thing is really rare with these guys and Id encourage you to stick with the product until they get it fixed. It really is great and they do a good job updating their programs. Its been inconvenient for me too, but their tack record is strong.

    Let’s get this figured out…. I’m tired of my devices not syncing. I paid for this app. This is unacceptable. Either fix it, or figure out a way to compensate those of us who paid for the pro features and are not receiving them.

    iStudiez Pro has become my go-to app for my school schedule, but this seems like the perfect time to put both effort and money into building a better system. Maybe your apps became too big too fast, but having worked as both an Oracle database analyst and Unix sys admin for eight years brings up questions of data security and off-site redundant servers. Our service agreement required a 99% up time so redundancy was necessary. It appears that you have no such system in place (or a process that is not mature) for the safety and consistency of user data. Restoring user data is a great start toward mitigation, but future plans should include off-site high-quality redundant servers. Good luck and I look forward to using your app ASAP!

    I can not get back in, I have sent to ask for a reset of my password three times with no response back. Are you guys out to lunch or what!!!! Should have stayed with iHomework. Your server goes down and now it reply to emails either.

    I have deleted and reinstalled this program on my laptop THREE TIMES and it still won’t open properly. It keeps crashing and has been completely useless. I have bought the PRO version for all my apple products so that it could sync across the board, but now this is becoming a waste of money. PLEASE HELP!!

    I bought this app and since I have, I have been trying to sync with no avail. Not even an account has been created as many times as I Redo and use a different account. But now I have a mac and want to purchase the app but until someone can get me a live account to sync my schedule I don’t see the point. PLEASE HELP ASAP. URGENT.
