Watch Comes on the Screen

We just got our hands on  Watch SDK and we are super enthusiastic to have a new space for iStudiez Pro development. There is a lot of work to do, and as always we desperately need your feedback (whatever it is) to help us understand the best way of transporting iStudiez Pro to the new platform.

So what we actually ask of you:

1. TELL us (in every possible way you can) what iStudiez Pro features you think are CRUCIAL to see on Apple Watch.

2. COMMENT on suggestions of others to help us get better picture and create new exiting experience for you.

3. CRITICIZE on features you consider NOT to be seen in iStudiez Pro on Apple Watch.

Thanks in advance for your support!

Basically the same type of notifications you would get on the iPhone, like classes, assignments, and exams. Also, a list of upcoming assignments, and perhaps a view of your next class or calendar event. Your concept UI is very nice, it should look like that.

      Hi Alex!

The UI you refer to is the way notifications look like on Apple Watch. We’ve just customized it a bit.
      Thanks for the suggestions.

I think, the today view is crucial, as is the ability to add new tasks and assignments. Also a Glace with only the actual/next lecture with room would be extremely nice.

      Hello!

Thanks for the suggestion, we will think about it.

iStudiez Team, this absolutely rules! I am really planning to buy an Watch and your app will be indispensable.

What, as a user, I would like to have would be a quick access to the day-plan, as if it was a day-shift. So, with a few gestures, sth that allows me to get to the Watch app and see there all the most important informations (what is left in my schedule on that day, the tasks I have to carry out in the following days, etc.)

Finally, having the same as in iPad and iPhone in terms of push notifications would be perfect, especially, as Alex Leclerc said, if the UI stays the same!! It looks beautiful!!

Please also think of implementing the countdown of a lecture’s remaining time.
Cause whenever I’m attending a boring lecture I’m fishing my iPhone out of my pocket ten times just wonder only a single minute has passed.
Keep up the good work ;P

Ah yeah, that’s a really common usecase 😀

Is it possible to use the location API to determine the (walking, driving, etc.) directions to your next class based on your location?

  • Michael Morgan

I think it would be cool to be able to check off completed assignments and enter grades right from the watch!
