Version 1.2 submitted – runs native on iPad!

There was no other way to make iStudiez Pro good for iPad other than completely change the interface. So we did it. Moreover, we dare say we like how we did it. Hopefully Apple agrees and you’ll be able to enjoy it since April 3rd :)

Now, read and rock: for all of you guys who have already bought iStudiez Pro for iPhone/iPod Touch, iPad version goes for free!

Additional bonuses pack for version 1.2 includes:
• Palette range to mark your courses is expanded with 5 additional colors
• Current semester now shown on top when creating an assignment
• Option to manage assignments inside each course is added
• Option to customize texts on Today screen added
• Option to save your preferences within your data backup
• Option to customize default due time push time for assignments
• Option to alter multiple dots in the Calendar with one single dot
• Loading data backup improved
• Some new icons added

We also fixed:
• Crash while turning off notification for assignment
• Bug when scrolling the list of assignments
• Crash while importing data from Exchange Server

Now, where are grades? That’s what we are sure you’ll ask once you launch the app.
But let us tell you that grades are coming immediately after our beta testers and translators give us green light.

So sleep well and dream of version 1.2. to play with on iPad ;)

Also, fantastic to hear that you’re so quick to support iPad! Over here in Sweden we probably won’t get our hands on them until summer, but I know I’ll be using iStudiez on mine next semester for sure. Also very happy to hear you’re on track with grades, as that’s a feature I’ve been missing terribly. Cheers! ;)

Is this also the new version for the iPhone and iPod Touch, or is this only for the iPad?

Does the new version have any speed improvements? I thought the current one was running slowly because my iPhone 3G was old – however I just got a new 3G and iStudiez is still quite slow to load and adding and modifying details of things.

“Option to customize texts on Today screen added”

I see the option in the Settings, but when I change the text and save it, nothing changes; it still displays “Have a nice day!”

  15. LeoLie said

@mike, When you’ve changed it, you have to restart it. For example: when your lessons are ended, and you change then the text, you have to end your lessons again. So: after you’ve changed the text, you have to add another lesson, let this end, and then your text will be displayed.

Yeah I have the same problem as mike in the Danish version… Matthews idea would be great too! I can’t wait for the next update with grades :D

It’s great that you doesn’t charge any extra for us who already have the app and now are getting an iPad :D

  18. Thank you for this.., newsworthy to pass a few moments on
