Thank you for fixing the crash problems! I was wondering if it were possible to be able to create more then one weight for an assignment. I went to add a weight and it gave me the option of adding a new one and I assumed it would give me more options to add but it only let me put in one weight and each assignment is weighted differently.

Thanks! Keep up the great work!

    Hey guys,
over at Facebook you are telling us that the desktop version is coming soon, but what means “coming soon”?
Could you at least give us a time frame? Can’t wait.
    Greetings,
    Frederik

Sorry to write here but your mailbox is full….

Hi, my name is Jean-Michel Vanasse, I’m a new technology reporter in Montreal Canada. I would like to try and review your app for MSN.ca. Is it possible to receive a download code?

    Thank you,

    Jean-Michel Vanasse

  7. Hi Jean-Michel, please see your mail.

  8. Hi Frederick, we have not yet officially announced, just answering those who are asking. We are going to officially announce in the first week of September, but it will mean that we already have alpha version only. You see, we want a desktop to have more features that mobile versions and we also want it to function as a separate app for those who does not use iPhone/iPod/iPad as well, so it takes more time.

  9. Hi Arlene, see response to Frederick

Arlene, Frederik, et al: Reading between the lines you should understand that a desktop version most likely won’t arrive any time soon. When you consider the testing, syncing issues, etc., the likelihood of seeing a solid, working version this semester is wishful thinking. Users have been asking for a desktop version for over a year now–and we’re still waiting.

What is truly a shame is that the developers would focus on a stand-alone desktop product, which by their own admission has resulted in a longer development/release time. With so many current users wanting a desktop version, the focus–IMHO–should have been to us first, not to potential new users who would buy a stand-alone product.

I love iStudiez Pro, but have become frustrated and disillusioned over the extremely long wait for a desktop version so we can quickly enter and sync data. I’m not holding my breath!

Hello, I bought iStudiez Pro a few weeks back, uninstalled it, and have been receiving unwanted ghost notifications at all odd hours. I recently re-installed (which cost me for a second time!!!) and then re-uninstalled the app again, thinking that might help, but I still get the notifications. They seem to be from the sample schedule included with the app. When I slide the iPhone “on” button, it just takes me to a completely blank screen. How can I stop this?!?!?!?!? I tried email you, but your mailbox is evidently full. Please help! Many thanks.

Version 1.4.2 indicates ghost notification problem was resolved. I’m using 1.4.2 (305) and GHOST NOTIFICATIONS ARE STILL A PROBLEM!! Please address this and tell us when this will be resolved once and for all. I can’t recommend this app until the problem is fixed.

  19. Good Morning.
We all know that iStudiez Pro is a great App! We also know that iStudiez Pro has a ton of features & finally we know that iStudies Pro has many bugs! Also I do not mind beta testing the Windows Version of the iStudiez Desktop! :) . We should also consider that iStudiez has a foundation of a lot of hardworking people which try to put the update out there with as much stability and control. Yes, the Ghost Notifications have not completely gone as I still keep getting a “Test” Schedule I made long way back. I sent a message to support stating this problem: WHICH WILL BE FIXED in the next few days, so no worry guys… It will be totally gone and another bug may sneak through like always…
So to end it… The iStudiez team is doing such a great deal of work plus you should be more concentrated and ready for College instead of counting down time till iStudiez Desktop is available…
    Thank You

I agree, the Ghost Notifications are really getting annoying! I’m looking forward to an update soon! I would also LOVE to see iCal syncing.

I would love to use this application but don’t have an iphone or ipad. I hope you will make a version for the android soon. When will the desktop version be out? I am going back to university at the start of October and have 2 more years on my course.

Is there a simple way to sync data between the iPhone and iPad versions of your program? Say, you want to use both simultaneously but want changes in one to be synched with the other. The only way i currently see this working is if you email yourself the backup every time you make a change you want synched, but that’s messy. Is this something you anticipate working on, will that require the anticipated desktop version or is there a more immediate way of syncing two devices, perhaps via MobileMe or similar services? Thanks!

How can i change the language at Istudiez Pro ?

  24. Hi Andrew, iStudiez Pro language settings depend on your device language settings.

  25. Hi Ingo, yes right now data backup is the only way, but we are working on smart sync and will announce it shortly.

  26. Not really sure what you mean Red Hair.

  27. Beta version of desktop version will be ready really soon, but as for Android we don’t have in plans to develop the version for this platform in the near future.

  28. Hi Darrin, hopefully with version 1.4.3 everything is fixed.
