Setting off to Macworld EXPO!

Hi everyone, first of all we wish good luck to all of you in the new semester :)

We would like to let you know that we will be a bit busy with preparation to Macworld Expo 2011 (San Fran, CA) for the next few days and extremely busy during the Expo period, so we may respond to your mails with delay.

You are most welcome to come say hello and meet us at Booth 818-1, Mobile Apps Showcase floor, we’ll be happy to demonstrate to you upcoming iStudiez Pro for Mac and Cloud Sync!

Oh, and remember that only several days are left before the end of voting for Best App Ever Award 2011, and we appreciate each and every vote of support that you are granting us.

Voting continues here: http://bit.ly/fFxrfA

Thanks again!

No more update and just release the darn thing already…sometimes just releasing something without any expectations are better.

I have Istudiez pro for ipod touch. When trying to add a new class it freezes and does not let me exit that screen by typing either save or cancel. I uninstalled the app, thus loosing all my data and reinstalled but the same error occurs. I cannot find a contact section on your website so I am writing this complaint here

We’ve been waiting so long. I thought it would come out when the mac app store opened, but instead its supposed to come out during the Mac Expo… but when??? I’ve been checking twitter and facebook.

  18. ehh iStudiez has learned how Apple advertises their products. Making you wait… and wait. Glad to say, I’m excited about the Mac App & Cloud Syncing. I think I can speak for everyone when I say, “RELEASE IT ALREADY” =) keep it up! cheers!

  19. Even Toboas said

The app would be better if one could put the grades on tests and not just tasks. How can I say it so those who make iStudiez pro can see this?

Have you guys even considered releasing already since the semester already started? How planned the release? How could you guys miss the most commonsensical thing to do? Are you waiting for the end of the semester of classes? If it’s good who cares about the expo, we need it now!

Will the Mac version be out before Feb 10? It would be a shame to not have it in the store by then and miss out on the rush for apps from the Verizon customers!

  24. Hemling said

I’ve tried emailing the company but the email never goes through, so I’m posting this here hoping someone will see it.

I am a user of your istudiezpro ipad app. I have found a few missing features that would enhance the usability of your program. First, currently there is no option to add single appointments or seminars. Currently the only option is to use the holiday option but that will not let you set a specific time. Therefore, I must put all my appointments with professors in my Mac calendar. Second, there is no way to program a make-up class. When my professors cancel a class I can cancel it with your software but I can’t schedule a make-up class. Finally, there is no way to adjust class times for a single class. Occasionally professors will schedule an extended or early class, if I attempt to change the time of the class on one specific date it changes the times for the entire semester.

I would be willing to pay for an update that includes these options.

    Thank You.

    iStudiezPro Mac version.. NOW!!

  32. We are not native speakers :) How about you help us?

  33. We see it, but right now you can add your test as assignment and grade it.

  34. Sean said

    Any update?

  35. JClark said

Aside from the Cloud Sync (which I hope will sync between the iphone and ipad versions) there are a few features that would make nice additions to a future update:

    1. As mentioned above, single classes, make-up classes, and the like would be great to have.
    2. The ability to filter the iCal calendars that show up in iStudiez. I have a dozen calendars for tracking different things, and I don’t need them all from within iStudiez.
    3. Repeating assignments. I have reading to do every week, and it would be nice to be able to make a generic “class reading” assignment in and have it repeate every week.
    4. Classes without specific schedules. I am taking a few campus classes, and an online class. The online class does not have a specific meeting time, but I have to give it one in iStudiez. The ability to have a class pinned to every day, or certain days, without having specific times associated with it would be great.

None of this is vital. I already use iStudiez all the time, and I have found ways to work around these limitations. iStudiez already has a few features that other similar apps do not, like semesters, I just think that these would make for a more complete and powerful solution.

Do you have an update on the Mac release date?

  37. Jason said

Soon I hope….Getting really tired…and used to iHomework…Sad isn’t? Loyal (sorta, need mac companion) iPhone and iPad user.

  38. Desperate for Mac Version said

Seriously, how do you guys miss the beginning of the semester as a release date?! YOU’RE KILLING ME!!!! I already downloaded iHomework, maybe I’ll just go with them!… K, I won’t because I love iStudiez UI, but please!!! I’ve been checking every day!! Must-Have-Mac-Version!!! When will you release it! Plz tell me it’s at least submitted!!

  39. Julian Delphiki said

This silence from the developers is getting a little absurd, I think. Most American semesters have already begun and most European semesters are well underway by now. I understand that in the last decade, making the consumers wait in order to build hype has become a knee-jerk marketing scheme, but that really only works well if you actually announce a release date; it only irritates consumers if you forget to tell them when it’s actually coming. That said, it’s your product. We’re just the ones paying for it.

  40. Xenia said

You are loosing customers! Why can’t you just tell us what the holdup is?

  41. AJ said

You guys could at least update us on the current status.

  42. Curtis said

First off, I have to say, that this app is the best! It completely organizes my educational life. The grades/gpa option was a great addition that I just discovered the other day! I know you guys are very busy with the release of the Mac version (and I`m sure it`s going to be awesome), but do you have any timetable for when a Windows version will be launched? All you’ve said in other posts is that it isn’t in your current plans. So does that mean 3 months, 1 year, 10 years?
    You guys rock, once again!

Please: Release the software to the appstore…….

  44. Jason M (JRod) said

Um…iHomework=fail. Guess what??? Failed product=better than iHomework…help me out now. I am 32, need all the help in the world. I have iPhone, iPad, but need………………..MAC support!!!!!!! Send me a download link or release via appstore.

Developers, please. Do not ignore this thread. Publish publish publish!

  49. Tanner said

Getting kind of fed up with the wait and non responsiveness of the developers.

  50. Lynette Diaz said

I think I speak for almost all customers when I say, we would be really understanding as to what the hold up might be… but we’d like to be informed as to what is going on.

What happened? You guys used to be so good with responding to customers.

  51. sum1 said

Let’s all hope that they mean “SOON” and not “Tweetie-2-like-SOON”…

  52. Adar Arnon said

I believe that repeating assignments is the feature I miss most in this app. All my classes have repeating assignments every week, and it’s a real pain to input a new assignment in every course every week.
